Windermere Suites is a luxury, five-star-rated bed and breakfast in the Lake District. The guest rooms are really special, with everything designed for beauty and luxury.

The eight fabulous suites have individual wall coverings and designer furniture; the hand-made silver-leaf beds by Frank Hudson are absolutely stunning. Each suite has its own lounge area complete with a large wall-mounted TV. The spacious bathrooms have an oversized double air-bath, walk-in shower, underfloor heating and chromotherapy mood lighting.

Each day at Windermere Suites starts with a piping-hot hearty Cumbrian platter breakfast of Cumberland sausage (meat or vegetarian), bacon, oven sauté potatoes, roast tomato, braised mushrooms and eggs to your liking, all served in your own suitr on Villeroy & Boch china. The extensive cold table options include all the usual fruit juices, cereals, fresh toast & preserves together with a good selection of continental meats, cheeses etc. And there is always a platter of fresh fruit for those requiring a healthier option.

The simple room service menu is available from 3pm until 10pm. The hotel can also recommend many good restaurants in the area (lots within walking distance) for a more formal dinner.

Windermere town centre, Lake Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, home to the ‘World Of Beatrix Potter’ are all within easy walking distance.
