The Borgo del Cabreo boutique hotel owes its name to one of the most renowned wines, Cabreo, produced from the vineyards surrounding the property. This is a charming country hotel with a real touch of class, run by the same Folonari family who make the wine.

Right in the heart of the Chianti region, this is a place to appreciate Tuscany and appreciate the special wines of the region. The extensive garden has a swimming pool surrounded by an elegant terrace with sunshades and loungers.

Breakfast is served daily and the buffet table is packed with all manner fruits, breads, croissants to tempt the palate.

The guest rooms are a delight, all featuring a flat-screen TV, minibar, safe, air-conditioning, tea and coffee-making and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. The deluxe rooms are huge, with comfy chairs and sofas and just room to spread yourself. In a separate building, a converted barn, is the Duplex Suite. This would be perfect for a romantic getaway, with a big living room and a bedroom and double bath on the mezzanine.

The small town of Greve in Chianti is just down the road, and this is the perfect place to enjoy the Tuscan countryside as well as the Italian wines that are produced here. Being about midway between Florence and Siena, it’s also a good location for visiting either of those cities.
